Metallic Silk Organzas
Stitched fabric construction
A delicate textile wall made from metallic silk organzas. Through a process of heat oxidising, the metallic fibres gradually mutate to produce a dynamic range of illuminating hues. From certain angles the wall almost appears monotone in colour. And then from other angles one can see the iridescence colours radiate and glow — exploring the journey of colour through surface, light and reflection.
