Television Centre Apartment

Design studio Waldo Works commissioned Deepa Panchamia to make a sculpture that captured the flowing geometry of broadcast and sound waves, for the penthouse apartment at the Television Centre, the former BBC headquarters in London.

Emerging from the wall in the entrance, the sculpture twists and turns — rising up to the second floor, where it spans out along the living room wall. The translucency of the material gives a light airiness and delicate feel to the dramatic wave and spiral shapes formed.
